A few days in Prague

1602

For Pam's "special" birthday we spent a few days in Prague. A really beautiful city.

It was quite cold and dull but no snow (a shame!). The sun did shine though as can be seen here on the right.

These pictures were taken on Charles Bridge.

We went to the Opera one evening at the Estates Opera House where Mozart himself premiered Don Giovanni. Very cheap by English prices. The opera house on the left below - most ordinary from the outside but very beautiful within. We visited Tyn Church and saw the astronomical clock. Below right.

We stayed in the Hotel Josef.
Thoroughly recommended.
